9-5-10 Celebrating Jadyn's 6th Birthday

Hello again. Even though Jadyn's birthday was actually on the 2nd of September, he was nice enough to wait until Grandma and Grandpa could get there and celebrate his special day on the 5th instead. He had a jumping castle, lots of friends, BBQ by Chris, a Wall-e cake, lots of presents, and not to mention a chance to fly a kite! It was a wonderful day, as you can tell from the photos below.

8-15-10 Jen Took Stacey Fishing

Stacey hadn't fished since she was a little girl, so Jen decided it was time she learned again. It was a hot, sunny day on Parker Canyon Lake in Arizona and the fish were NOT biting! Jen caught two fish, but one was too small, so it got to go back into the lake. As you can see from the photos, she then caught a good sized Blue Gill. Stacey didn't do too well, as a matter of fact, she didn't catch anything except a sunburn! Better luck next time, Stacey.

Thomas Weddding Video

Okay, here it is, the video you've all been waiting for.

This is a musical montage that shows off the lights of Tucson a little better than the pictures did. Enjoy.

Kris married Chris Thomas

I have some great news...Kristina got married! She married a handsome young man named Chris Thomas (I know, Kris and Chris, isn't that cute?)! They had a small ceremony to "tie the knot" on July 16 with Brad presiding, as you can see from the pictures, it was a beautiful evening for the ceremony. But as you can tell from the video, we probably should have had a rehearsal! Afterward, we went to Olive Garden to celebrate. Enjoy the pictures and video! (I know, the video isn't here yet, sorry for the inconvenience but the video will be available shortly)

PS, don't worry, there will be a larger ceremony where all the families can get together July 5, 2011. More information on that to follow!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Thomas!

6-20-10 Father's Day

If you are just now tuning into this blog, you probably noticed that there are quite a few postings made today. I have to apologize to everyone that I have been very lazy and haven't posted in a very long time (I know, I need to emphasize the very). But I'm back and will try very hard to post on a timely manner from now on. It's just that now that we have settled down in Tucson, I didn't think there was much that people wanted to hear from me about, but I was proved wrong by family and friends. So, here's to you, Ma, as well as my sisters and cousins who follow this blog to find out what we've been up to. Enjoy the photos in this as well as the following postings!
Stacey

You might notice that Brad is not in these pictures, I'm sad to say that he had to work today, but he was in all our thoughts!

Kristina visits Tucson in June, 2010

It was great having Kristina visit us in Tucson, AZ and we loved meeting her boyfriend, Chris. While she was here, we celebrated her birthday, as well as Jen's. Take a look at these pictures:

Memorial Day 2010

At Fairview Manor, we celebrated Memorial Day by remembering people who are no longer with us. We taped their names to balloons and released them as part of the ceremony held in the club house. Jen chose Allie Burch, the 13 month old child of a co-worker, Stacey chose Margie Boon, her mom, and Brad chose Randy Robinson, his older brother.
