1-16 to 26, 2009 Quartzite, AZ boondocking

Hey everyone,
When we first arrived in Quartzsite, we were getting dinner when we came across a van on fire! What a welcome, they shouldn't have gone to all that trouble just for us! For 10 days, we joined Robbie and Alice as well as other Montana owners and had a nice little learning experience on how to boondock, or dry camp. Doug and Sharon Henry were the wagon masters and were able to place 31 rigs evenly around a campfire. What an amazing sight that was! We had never dry camped before and learned soooo much about generators, honey wagons (those vehicles that come around and pump out your holding tanks), and adding fresh water without ever having to move your rig. You can see from the pictures below that we are now experienced boondockers thanks to the MOC (Montana Owners Club). We had campfires every night, a pot luck, and even a game day. Of course there was plenty of time to walk around the big tents and see all the vendors that cater to everything an RVer might need, even those things they really don't need but have to have!

1-8 to 16, 2009 Camp Verde, AZ

Hello,
Hope the new year finds you well! This time, during our stay at Camp Verde, we took advantage of the vendor and craft show and displayed our wares. We demonstated the Bemer3000 mat and gave out information on the dangers of cell phone usage. Maybe next time we'll be able to sell out of our products!

While were in the area, we decided to take a trip to the old mining ghost town of Jerome. For those of you who have been to Bisbee, this looks very familiar! It's amazing how they can build those houses right on the hillside. Enjoy the photos.

12-26-08 Stacey's Birthday

Santa gets to rest, but I still get presents! This year, I spent lunch my family at Golden Corral, then dinner with Brad at Red Lobster. I LOVE lobster! I also got to visit with my two favorite people, Kim and Stacey! Thank you Kris for the digital photo frame and Jen & Huynh for my new favorite earrings! I also really enjoyed seeing a theater production of Hair, which Dad and Jacki sent Brad and I to. It was a wonderful day!

Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas!
Kris, Jen, Jadyn, Nevaeh, Papa and Jacki came by our "house" parked at the Voyager RV Park in Tucson, AZ for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of cold cut english muffin sandwiches, with egg nog and hot chocolate of course. Then Kris, Jen, Jadyn and Nevaeh stayed over for Christmas! We so enjoyed seeing their faces light up as they went through their stockings and then opened each gift with vigor. There were a lot of Dora and Diego themes going on; from DVDs to PlayDo! Then when all the gifts were opened here, we all went to Great Grandpa (Papa) and Great Grandma (Jacki)'s house for more gifts! It was a wonderful Christmas! Hope yours was special too. Enjoy the photos.
